The extras that you will need to pay on arrival

• Whitsunday Sailing you will have to pay: reef marine charge $4.50 per person per day, Marine fee of $5 per person per trip, oil levy $5 per person per trip, administration fee $15 per person per trip. Total $40 reef tax plus $20 for a stinger suite, both charges are once off and required on all sailing trips.
• The Canoe Trip $55 permit fees to pay plus meals & alcohol.
• Fraser Island you will have an insurance charge of $35, a fuel / gas and ice charge of $25 and approx $30 for food. Also a $100 bond must be handed in for the car, which is refunded when you give the car back (as long as it is not damaged.) You must attend a 5pm meeting the day prior to departure in Hervey Bay.
  
• The Great Barrier Reef trip has a $15 fuel levy, reef and port charges.
  
• Rafting trip, you need to pay $35 fuel levy.
  
• To get to Magnetic Island, you need to catch the bus to Townsville and then catch a ferry to Magnetic Island for $26.70 return

Transport

If you need transport with our east coast deal, you have the options of Premier or Greyhound (Oz Experience passes are available as well).

Premier runs a fleet of modern, air-conditioned coaches, with facilities including video and toilets. The bus follows the Pacific Highway along the east coast, and one can hop-on hop-off at any destination. Buses run 7 days a week, with 3 services every day between Sydney and Brisbane and 1 service every day between Brisbane and Cairns. Passes are valid FROM DATE OF ISSUE for 2 months. Sydney to Cairns or vice versa is AUD$269, you must hold a concession card for this price.

The Greyhound buses are very similar to Premier, but have more frequent services and are valid FROM DATE OF FIRST TRAVEL for 45 days. They run 5 daily services between Sydney and Brisbane, 4 daily services between Brisbane and Cairns. Sydney to Cairns or vice versa is AUD$299, and you must also hold a concession card for that price. Bus passes are priced for a one way pass only.

Once you make a booking we will email you all the vouchers with booking details and contact details for you to book your trips~ we recommend 2-3 days in advance for accommodation, 1 week for the Whitsunday’s and Noosa Canoe Safari, 4-5 days for your Fraser and aprox 24hrs for your bus ticket!

Hervey Bay

Kookaburras use late model Toyota 4WD Landcruisers taking a maximum of 11 people per group. All camping equipment, ferry fees, camping and vehicle permits are included. Driving instruction and safely briefing is given prior to departure. A local payment for insurance is $35, fuel, ice and cooking gas $25 and allow approximately $25 for food. $100 bond and a optional $20 underbody insurence will also be collect at briefing. 5pm Pre tour introduction meeting where u meet all your travel buddies
