  1. What daily activities can I do in Sydney?
    These are some of the activities that you can do in Sydney: Blue Mountains, Hunter Valley, Jenolan Caves, Whale watching, Bridge climbing, Sydney Aquarium, Centre Point Tower, Taronga Zoo, Opera House, Surf Trips & National park trips.
  1. Is the "East Coast Wanderer" planned with specific times for departure from each destination?
    No this deal is open dated for 3 months from date of issue.
  1. Do we basically plan everything ourselves?
    You can book dates as you travel or Wanderers Travel can organise a trip planner for you.
  1. Do we have a guide or anyone we can talk to on our trip if we have any questions?
    This deals are made for the independent travellers, they are not guided, however you meet people along the way who are doing the same thing.
  1. How do I get to my accommodation?
    Majority of the hostels that we deal with are within walking distance from the bus terminals or there are shuttle buses that pick you up from the bus stop.
  1. What's the difference between Premier and Greyhound and an Oz Experience Pass?
    - Premier Motor Service follows the Pacific Highway along the east coast, and one can hop-on hop-off at any destination.Buses run 7 days a week, with 3 services every day between Sydney and Brisbane and 1 service every day between Brisbane and Cairns.
    Passes are valid FROM DATE OF ISSUE.
    - Greyhound is similar to Premier but more frequent services than Premier and passes are valid FROM DATE OF FIRST TRAVEL.
    Greyhounf run 5 daily services between Sydney and Brisbane, 4 daily services between Brisbane and Cairns.
    - OZ Experience only travel by day. There's some included activities en route; learn to surf, barefoot bowling, bush walking, outback experience, mini-goat rodeos and beaches. You're free to hop on and off when you like on your Oz Experience bus network. For 6 months, you have unlimited stops. It is on a bus tour dedicated to backpackers and travellers generally aged between 18 - 35
  1. Is there a way I can also visit the Australia Zoo?
    You can visit Australia Zoo, however it is at your own expense. To get to Australia Zoo, you need to stop at Maroochydore and catch a shuttle bus to the Zoo.You can catch the following Sunbus services to Australia Zoo:
    Route 615 - Maroochydore (Sunshine Plaza) - Mooloolaba - Chancellor Park - Landsborough Station - Australia Zoo.
  1. Does it cost extra for singles?
    Those are travelling with student or concession cards get special discounts.
  1. Do we have to pre-book each hostel/camp individually and does it cost extra?
    If you are in a tied schedule we can per book your itinerary for you otherwise all deals are open dated and you pre book your accommodation by calling the free call number provided on each voucher.
  1. For the accomodation, are there discounts or is all accomodation included?
    All the accommodation that is listed in our deals are included and they are at set hostels that we deal with. Any extra nights you need you pay for when you check in.
  1. How do we get a concession card?
    We sell VIP cards for $39.
  1. Can we put down a deposit to hold our spot or do we have to pay everything in full at the time of booking?
    You can pay a deposit, however we can not book all your tour until full payment is received.
  1. How do I pay for this trip if I go ahead with it?
    There are a few different payment options:
  1. direct deposit into our bank account
  2. send through your credit card details to this email address or contact me on 0405 197 866
  3. paypal payment method on our website (this payment method is only for the deals advertised on our website)
    Credit Card payments will incur a 2% surcharge.
  1. Can I do a bank transfer into a wanderers travel account? Pay half now
    and half when we start?

    Yes you can do a bank transfer into Wanderers Travel Account, and you can pay a deposit or instalments, however vouchers can not be issued until full payment is received.
  1. Do you have an office in Cairns? Is it possible to confirm the whole
    booking (the quote you gave us) in your Cairns office?

    Unfortunately our agent in Cairns no longer have access to our East Coast deals, as we now have a website, all deals can be booked directly through Wanderers Travel, over phone or through the Internet.
  1. Where should we stay in cairns the night before our tour starts so its
    easy to get to the first bus?

    Bohemia Resort is your accommodation in Cairns, they have a shuttle bus that picks up and drops off from the bus terminals as well as the airport.
  1. Would there be any issues if we decide to drive by car from cairns to
    Sydney instead of travelling by bus?

    No there will not be any issues, I can offer you the Beast of the East on it's own, and I can give you a quote for a car if you need to rent one.
  1. How much is the greyhound bus if you are not a student?
    Greyhound Adult Explorer Mini Travel Bus Pass from Cairns to Sydney is for AUD$357 + fuel Surcharge
