 2 Day Fraser Island Tour includes:
- 2 day guided tour - 1 night accommodation at Eurong Beach Resort - 1 breakfast, 2 lunches and 1 dinner Itinerary: Day 1 Travelling north from Brisbane we pass the Glass House Mountains and Sunshine Coast before arriving at Rainbow Beach. From Rainbow Beach we take the 4WD on to the beach to meet our ferry at Inskip Point, where a short Ferry ride will take us to the southern tip of Fraser Island. We head forSeventy Five Mile Beach and find ourselves a nice spot to enjoy a fresh picnic lunch. Travelling north up the eastern beach of Fraser Island we head for Eli Creek. Eli Creek is a fast flowing fresh water stream. Take the beautiful board walk to the top of the creek and let yourself relax and float down this picturesque stream. Our next stop is Lake Wabby. We park our 4WD at the start of the 20 min walking track, which takes us through lush coastal heath and thick eucalypt forest. This takes us to the deepest lake on Fraser Island, the famous Lake Wabby. The return walk goes through theHammerstone Sandblow. At the end of the day we travel to Eurong Beach Resort to check into our accommodation and enjoy a Buffet Dinner in the Resort Restaurant. Accommodation is in a 4 share dormitory and is backpacker style accommodation. Upgrades to twin/double or single rooms are available as listed below. Day 2 With an early start for a continental breakfast at 7.00am, we check out and get out on tour by 8.00am. We head to Central Station today to visit Fraser island's lush subtropical rainforests. We take a fantastic 1 hour walk along the clear flowing waters of Wanggoolba Creek and learn about Fraser Island's Timber History. Next we are off to Lake Birrabeen, one of Fraser Island's beautiful crystal clear lakes. We have plenty of time here to swim, relax, sunbathe and enjoy a picnic lunch. After lunch we head through the forest roads back to the Southern end of Fraser Island. Mid afternoon we departRainbow Beach back to Brisbane, with the tour finishing around 6.00pm. Tour includes: 2 x picnic lunch, 1 x buffet dinner, 1 x continental breakfast, all activities and all entry fees. What to bring: Towel, Camera, Sunscreen, Hat, Swimming gear, Insect repellent, walking shoes, warm clothes (winter), torch, sense of humour! Departures are not weather dependent. We recommend you come prepared for the prevailing conditions. In cases of extreme weather conditions, the tour operator reserve the right to change the scheduled destination for customer safety and enjoyment.
