Day 1: Courtesy bus from your hostel {7.45 - Sam) to Boreen Point and water taxi across Lake Cootharaba to Kinaba station where you will receive a full briefing. Canoe through the pristine rainforest to Harry's Hut and set up camp. Toilets, drinking water & picnic tables are available at the site.
Day 2: Paddle to camp site 3 and then follow the walking track up to the Cooloola Sand Patch. This walk is 11 km round trip, so make sure you set off to the Sand Patch early in the morning or you might get lost in the dark when returning.
Day 3: Pack up tent and gear and be back at the Rangers Station by 10am for the return trip across the lake. You will arrive back in Noosa around 1pm. Extra Information • Baggage storage $5 & car storage $5. • An airtight barrel is provided, please put clothes in plastic bag or small backpack. • Cooking set, plates & cups, tents, sleeping mats & water provided. • Pack in a small backpack swimmers, hat, sunscreen, light pants, comfy shirt, warm fleece or jacket, sandals or thongs, walking shoes, towel, insect repellent, torch, sleeping bag, water bottle and food. You won't need toilet paper. Travel light! • There are no showers so the only toiletries needed are your toothbrush and deodorant. • You will need enough food, drink and snacks for 2 or 3 days (depending on which safari you choose), the canoeing is going to make you extra hungry, so bring plenty and make sure it's small, compact and easy to cook (no glass). • Sleeping bag hire available $5. • Life jackets are available from the departure point

Set in the rainforest at Cape Tribulation, the award winning Jungle Surfing Canopy Tours takes you on a unique rainforest tour where your feet don't touch the ground. Fly through the trees on flying fox ziplines, stopping at five tree platforms to take in spectacular bird's eye views over the treetops, down to cascading streams and out to the Great Barrier Reef. The longest span is over 75m and the platforms vary in height from 2.5-19.5m above the ground. At the highest point you fly over 22 m above Mason Creek, and the flight choice is yours- slow, fast or upsidedown.

The Minjin Jungle Swing was designed and built in 2000 as a way for one, two or three people to experience extreme speed and acceleration together.
The Minjin is a muti-person Jungle Swing where you fall from 45 meters in height down to just 1 meter in 3 5 seconds reaching speeds of up to 120 KM/PH.
But don't think this is a show ground ride - you have the control. At the top while laying horizontally YOU need to pull the self release to start your Swing! Feel the rainforest close in and around you as you fly, don t close your eyes at the bottom because were taking an action photo!
